It’s been over a year since I had the pleasure of working with Louise and Susan to create their wedding dance and my goodness the photos have been worth the wait. They both look beautiful in their floor length, matching wedding gowns with sparkling detail, and judging by the fun that we had in the lessons and the great time I had teaching them, I know their dance will have been full of energy and giggles.
Susan and Louise got married in December 2015, so have already celebrated their first wedding anniversary (congratulations ladies, I can’t believe how quickly time flies), and their wedding venue was up in pretty Chester at the Oddfellows.
When Louise and Susan first approached me to enquire about lessons, they hadn’t chosen a song but were positive about the sort of dance that they’d like to do; something upbeat like a Charleston. We put our heads together and they chose the absolutely brilliant Pencil Full of Lead by Paulo Nutini.
Their wedding band played the song for them and there were Charleston moves a plenty with a few Quickstep and Jive steps thrown in for good measure. Louise and Susan’s boundless energy really suited everything they did in the dance. They kicked, spun and twirled their way to a really great wedding dance performance.
I love seeing the faces of the wedding guests in the photo’s that my couples send me because they always look so happy and so proud of the fantastic dancing, and Louise and Susan’s pictures are another really great example of that.
Louise and Susan were a joy to teach. We had a great giggle and it was lovely to meet their gorgeous fluffy cat and hear about the rest of their wedding, including their very crafty and impressive cake pop stand(!!).
I’m so proud of their dancing and all the effort that they put in to the lessons and their routine.
Congratulations ladies, I hope you have a lifetime of happiness together.
