Unsurprisingly, I do love a wedding and last Saturday, Rich and I got dolled up in our finest and very excitedly hopped on a train down to Clissold House in London to the beautiful wedding of our lovely friends Laura and Carl.

They had two dance lessons with me before the big day and both looked wonderful dancing their first dance at their evening venue, The Adam and Eve in Mill Hill.

With their friends and family in full support, in all their cheering glory, Laura and Carl kicked off their evening celebrations with their first dance to the gorgeous voice of Otis Redding and his very romantic ‘That’s how strong my love is.’

The routine was in a waltz style and included dips, spins, a lift and, of course, whooping from their adoring audience.  Laura and Carl did a truly brilliant job, conquering nerves and showing their friends and family what great dancers they are.

Laura’s dress had a full skirt and looked beautiful as she spun around the floor, and I didn’t think they looked nervous at all as they danced; the smiles on their faces beaming throughout.  Lovely!  Awwww…
